St. John Warmbloods

Strieste

Purebred Filly Bay, foaled April 2000

Strieste was the highest  rated mare at her ATA regional inspection with a score of 54, putting her in the top 7% of all mares inspected bt the ATA. Trieste has such a lot of natural talent for dressage that she could go to FEI levels with an amateur rider who is working their way up  as well. She has great regular rythym, suppleness and use of her back. She is calm, willing and forward moving.

Strieste (reg. Strieste ATA ORB-A-M2381) is by Windwalzer out of Sevilla (3/4 sister to Kostolony, grandsire of Moorland's Totilas) by Enrico Caruso. Windwalzer, her sire, was USDF Horse of the Year champion in 1999 at Intermediare II.

Strieste dam, Sevilla, has already produced an outstanding performance mare, Serralinde. Serralinde (foaled '97) has advanced through the USDF levels through 4th level with high median scores at each level. Then, just for a change of pace, she won some hunter over fences championships. (view Serralinde's current test scores)

Sevilla's full brother, Spinnaker (foaled '94) has been ATA's USDF reserve champion at Training, 1st, 3rd and 4th levels in '99, '00, '02 ,'03 respectively. In '04 he is doing very well at Intermediare I, having won at least one high score award.

Sevilla is also a 3/4 + sister to the the great German Trakehner sire Kostolany. Strieste is 15.3 (the same height Serralinde was at 4 years of age).
